Hello readers!
I hope you have peace in your lives, and that your Christmas was uneventful, in a good way. Ours was calm, and several friends joined us for dinner and games.
The parties were plentiful this month, and when Flash’s long work days and weeks came to a close, he was able to join us for a couple of parties. We were surprised when he was finally able to take a few days off, so all work stopped as we caught up on Dad time and had a few dates. I took him to see the newest James Bond movie, which is always a sacrifice for me since Roger Moore’s days of 007 are long gone. But I was pleasantly surprised by a great movie that didn’t leave me feeling exhausted from all the jumping out of planes, leaping tall buildings, etc.
And so, this week I am back to completing my next article for you. In fact, yesterday morning, I woke up and the writer’s block that has plagued me for several months was gone! I ran to my laptop for fear it would return with a vengeance, and was able to write about 900 words in the first hour. It’s great to be back!
In the meantime, please listen to my most recent podcast interview, conducted by my friend Sandy Deppisch at her Embrace the Blessing podcast. She’s a long-time wonder woman who travels this special needs road and has helped me so much along the way.
I hope it encourages you and others you know who may need it. Just click on the link below, or visit www.embracetheblessing.com and look for my November 24 interview on Page 2 of the podcast section! You can listen to Embrace the Blessing on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, or whatever platform you use for your favorite podcasts.
