Hello kind readers!
Wow! This has been a different season of life for us! My husband, Flash, is working extra days and hours on a special work project, so I’ve ramped up Cowboy’s social life even more, to keep us jolly and bright!
Thankfully, Flash was able to be home on Thanksgiving, which made it an especially memorable one since we were able to have an entire day with him. He was like a kid in a candy store that morning, so excited to be with us.
Holiday festivities are well underway. We have three parties and a musical to attend next weekend. And two parties the next week. Honestly, I’m loving all of our time with friends, and don’t know what I’d do without Cowboy’s job coach, Radar, and his attendant, Vanessa. If you look up “lifesaver” in the dictionary, you’ll find their names. They’re giving me some breathing room during these long days.
Meanwhile, a true Christmas miracle has happened. Are you sitting down, dear reader? I JOINED AN EXERCISE CLASS. For those who are long-time readers, you know this is truly remarkable. God has been whispering in my ear for years; I finally listened. I’m a slow learner. This body needs some strength before I hit 60. My new adventure was meant to be - I knocked on a stranger’s door, and met a kind lady who teaches classes three minutes from my house. I took that as a sign.
And so, we continue on. Decking the halls and jingling the bells.
In the midst of all the things, I am writing my next article, to be published soon. It’s a scary story about things like spiders, scorpions, and letting go of fear.
Have a wonderful week, and know that I think of you so often, sometimes daily!
Please let me know how you are doing.
Kim
