Well, my Cowboy turned 21 this week! It seems he was just an energetic 2-year-old who loved Elmo and never stopped moving! But, you know, he's my "baby," as well as my young man.
It's been a rough season for Cowboy, as he adjusts to transitions in life, as well as to young-man hormone levels. Quite the roller coaster ride, especially because he has autism.
I've often said that our children sometimes need us more as they grow older...and Cowboy needs my added support this summer. We're in this together, taking one step at a time.
And so, dear readers, I'm taking a brief hiatus from posting my stories. It's the least I can do for someone who has given me so much more than I could ever give him.
And I'm sure he'll continue to give me so much to write about.
